## Rules questions

### At the start of my turn how do I move my Heads and when do I place Bodies?

At the start of your turn you must move your Heads a total number of spaces equal to your Speed, placing 1 Ready Body into each space you move out of; you may still move even if you have no Ready Bodies, and if a Head explores or battles it stops moving for this step (page 4).

### Can my Leviathan recruit Crew or load Cannons like other factions?

No—you cannot recruit Crew (except via the Symbiotic Evolution) and you do not have a Cannons action; also, moving into an enemy causes a battle only if the enemy has loaded Cannons, otherwise you must use your Strike action to battle (page 4).

### When I Feast, which region’s wealth die gets increased if the Appetite reward says to increase wealth?

If an Appetite reward increases a region’s wealth die, increase the wealth die in the region containing the Head you used to Feast, even if that region is different from the Island you discarded Crew from (pages 5–6).

### How do Battle Victory results work with Fangs—can I pick the same result more than once?

When you win a battle you deal 1 damage and then choose a number of extra, unique Battle Victory results equal to your Fangs; you may not choose the same result multiple times (page 6).

### How do I outfit a Frigate and where do I place it?

While your Flagship is at an Island you outfit a Frigate by recruiting a matching Crew from the Market as its Captain, gaining Fame equal to that recruit cost (or 3 if it cost a die), then place the Frigate figure in any space in your Flagship’s region and increase that region’s wealth die (page 10).

### Do I have to pay a Crew’s recruit cost to fill a Job, and can damaged Job slots be filled?

You do not pay the Crew’s recruit cost to fill a Job (you discard a Market Crew of the Job’s suit), but damaged Job slots cannot be filled; reveal all Job tokens at game end to gain their listed Fame (pages 10–11).
