## Rules questions

### When do we draft cards and how does the Gods' Gifts draft work (including the 2‑player variant)?

The draft happens in the Gods' Gifts phase at the start of each Age: players pick one card from their hand then pass the remainder according to the draft procedure; the rulebook explains the full sequence and the 2‑player variant in detail (pp. 12–13).

### Can I invade across fjords or Yggdrasil without Horns — what do Horns affect in movement/invade?

Movement and legal Invade targets are governed by the Invade and March rules, and the Horns stat modifies those options per the Horns note; see the Invade rules and Horns note on p.14 and the March/Yggdrasil movement examples on p.15 for what is allowed. 

### When do we reveal battle cards and how are losses assigned (including special post‑reveal cards)?

Battles use a simultaneous reveal of played Battle cards during the Call to Battle/resolve steps; special post‑reveal effects and the procedure for resolving battle strength, assigning losses, and awarding Pillage rewards are described on pp. 17–18. 

### How do Upgrade cards affect my figures and are there limits to upgrades per figure?

Upgrade cards are played on your clan and attach to figures or your clan sheet to modify STR or grant abilities, and you must follow the upgrade limits and placement rules described in the Upgrade section (see p.16; card examples on p.8).

### What happens to figures in a province destroyed by Ragnarök?

During Ragnarök the specified province(s) are destroyed and all figures there are returned to Valhalla (then released according to the Valhalla rules); the Ragnarök and return‑to‑Valhalla steps are detailed on p.22 (setup of destroyed provinces is on p.10).

### When do I commit units to Quests and how are Quest outcomes determined?

You commit to Quests during the Action Phase (the Call to Battle/Pillage step distinguishes Pillage vs. Quest commits), and Quests are resolved in the Quest Phase by comparing committed STR totals to determine winners and rewards as explained on pp. 17 and 20.
