## Rules questions

### When can I open the Book of Secrets / Cardporium / Sticker Sheets — can we peek at them before the campaign starts?

Do not open them until the Rulebook or the Book of Secrets tells you to; the Rulebook explicitly warns to read only the specified passages or cards and not to look at other sealed components (page 1).

### Do I have to play every card in my hand on my turn?

Yes — you must play all your cards before ending your turn, though you may play them in any order and keep played cards in a play area until the end of the turn (page 4).

### If I acquire a card from the Adventure Row, can I use it immediately?

The card's Acquire text (if any) happens the moment you take it, but the card itself is placed in your discard pile and cannot be played until later when you draw it into your hand (pages 8 and 5).

### How does Clank! and the dragon bag work — when do my Clank cubes get pulled and how is damage assigned?

Whenever you generate Clank! you add cubes to the Clank! Area; on a Dragon Attack you put all cubes from the Clank! Area into the Dragon Bag and draw cubes equal to the Dragon Marker’s space, with colored cubes dealing damage to their owners and black cubes set aside (pages 4 and 9).

### If I get knocked out, do I still score points or escape?

If your Health Meter fills you are knocked out and laid on your side; knocked-out players stop taking normal turns and, if you didn't pick up an Artifact or are in the Danger Zone when knocked out, you score 0 points (page 12).

### When exactly does the Adventure Row get refilled and what triggers a Dragon Attack?

At end of your turn you resolve Contracts, clear your play area and draw, then refill the Adventure Row to six cards; if any newly revealed card has a Dragon Attack symbol the dragon attacks once (only new Dragon Attack symbols trigger attacks), drawing cubes as described on the Rage Track (page 9).
