## Rules questions

### When do I choose and reveal the Operations card — do I have to tell the exact number of turns?

You draw and secretly choose the top or bottom option, place the card face‑down with the chosen side facing the board and tell opponents whether you chose top or bottom, but you do NOT reveal the exact number of turns; reveal the card only after the chosen number of turns have been completed. (Rulebook p. 10)

### Can multiple units share a hex or move through occupied hexes?

Only one unit may occupy a hex (the only exception is during an Assault); units may move through but cannot end their movement on a hex containing another unit, and some terrain edges are impassable. (Rulebook p. 11)

### How does HE Splash work — will it hit nearby units and ignore cover?

HE Splash makes HE affect the target hex and all adjacent visible hexes (hitting friend and foe), is rolled/applied together, and ignores non‑building cover (it can still be subject to building defenses in some cases and requires spotting). (Rulebook p. 19)

### Can infantry inside a transport capture a control point?

No — infantry inside a transport do not Capture; only the transport itself can Capture if it has the Capture ability. (Rulebook p. 13)

### Does Machine Gun Overwatch pin units or just deal damage when they move into its arc?

Set‑up MG Overwatch deals a guaranteed 1 damage immediately when enemy infantry move onto a hex in its firing arc but Overwatch itself does NOT apply the Pinned status; Pinning is applied by assigned damage in the Damage Phase. (Rulebook pp. 13–14)

### How do Commander tiers unlock and when can I use commander abilities or call‑ins?

You unlock Commander tiers by spending the XP cost on the tier from left to right (placing spent XP on the track); commander abilities, unit spawns, and upgrades normally occur during the Supply Phase unless the card specifies a different timing. (Rulebook pp. 27–28)
