## Rules questions

### When do I ring the bell?

Ring the bell as soon as the revealed face-up cards show exactly five fruits of the same type — be the first to hit the bell when that condition appears. (page 3)

### Do you only ring when exactly five of a fruit appear, or also when there are more or less?

You only ring when there are exactly five of the same fruit; rings at any other time are incorrect. (page 3)

### What happens when I ring the bell correctly?

The first player to ring when exactly five identical fruits are shown wins all of the face-up discard piles, places those cards face down under his draw deck, and starts the next round by turning over the first card. (page 4)

### What happens if I ring the bell by mistake?

If you ring when the revealed cards do not show exactly five of the same fruit, you must give each other player one card from your draw pile as a penalty. (page 4)

### If I run out of cards, am I out of the game?

No — a player with an empty draw pile is not out until they also lose their discard pile or ring by mistake; they skip revealing cards but may still ring the bell. (page 4)

### How does the game end and who wins?

The round (game) ends when only two players remain in the round; they continue until one wins the face-up discard piles (if a player rings wrongly in this final duel, the opponent immediately wins those piles), and the player holding the largest number of cards at the end of the round is the winner. (page 5)
