## Rules questions

### When I take a tile, how many workers do I have to put in that hive box?

You form a single beeline by assigning one or more available workers; if the hive box already has beelines you must place exactly one more worker than the tallest existing beeline there, and if you can’t meet that requirement you cannot choose that space (p.4).

### If placing a tile creates an empty cell, do I have to take all the activated hive actions?

Yes — when you create an empty cell you activate all action icons on spaces adjacent to that cell and you must take all of those hive actions if possible, in any order you choose (each action icon can be activated only once per turn) (p.4; hive actions list p.5).

### With the Market action, do I have to sell everything or can I choose how much to sell?

You may sell any quantity of a single resource (pollen or one honey type); you gain coins equal to the resource’s current market value per unit, then that resource’s value drops by one (only one-step drop regardless of quantity sold) (p.5).

### If I take a New Bee action, is the new worker immediately available and does it count for contests?

A New Bee moves a worker from the supply to the nursery (it isn’t available for assignment until you next recall workers), but it does count immediately toward the completion of contest cards even before you’ve recalled it (p.5).

### What exactly triggers the end of the game and how are contests scored?

The game ends when either four of five resources can’t drop further or two of the three order stacks are empty; play continues until all players have had an equal number of turns, then you total scores (p.7).
