## Rules questions

### How many banked Shifts can I spend in one day—can I exceed the 4‑Shift daily limit?

You may spend banked Shifts when you work, but no player is ever allowed to work more than a total of 4 Shifts in one day, so banked Shifts cannot make you exceed that 4‑Shift cap (Rulebook p.7).

### Do banked Shifts turn into Productivity Points during an assessment?

When the manager assesses your performance you can be rewarded with Productivity Points equal to the number of Shifts you have banked; conversely, the manager may penalize you 1 PP for each Shift fewer than 5 you have banked in certain assessments (Rulebook p.8).

### Can I use books, banked Shifts or Parts Vouchers the same day I receive them?

No — company policy disallows using those benefits the same day you receive them: Books, Banked Shifts, and Parts Vouchers are credited at the end of the workday and are not available until the next day (Rulebook p.7).

### If I get a certification, can I use its benefits immediately?

Yes — when you become certified you discard the lock, move your certification meeple and take the certification benefit, and certification advantages may be used immediately (Rulebook p.8).

### How does Recycling work—can I swap parts anytime and during Meetings?

On your turn you may take a Car Part from your board and trade it for another in the recycling pool (use is free, each recycling space holds only one part type and at most three parts may be in recycling), and you can repeat this as often as you wish, but Recycling cannot be used during Meetings (Rulebook p.7; Meetings note p.13).

### How is Meeting order determined and how do Performance Goals score?

Meeting order is from most certified to least (right‑to‑left on the Certification Track), and players use Seats to claim Performance Goals where the first speaker scores the full value/multiplier, the next scores one fewer, and so on until the Goal is exhausted — details and examples are on pages 13–14 (Rulebook pp.13–14).
