## Rules questions

### Can my line touch itself, touch another line, or branch?

No — drawings must never touch or branch; any drawing that does is not valid and only valid drawings are scored (see page 4).

### If I touch the same mission item twice (or touch an item multiple times), do I get points for each touch?

No — when a mission must be performed multiple times you must use different items for each instance (touching the same item twice won’t count as two mission completions), and Quest points may only be earned once per Item even if it’s touched multiple times by valid drawings (see page 5).

### What happens if I draw a type that’s not listed in the Mission Box or I make more drawings than allowed?

If your screen contains a drawing type not specified in the Mission Box, all your drawings are declared invalid; likewise exceeding the maximum number of drawings invalidates all your drawings and you earn no Experience Points for the level (see page 4).

### When are Pranks, Bonus and Penalty tokens applied — before drawing or during scoring? And do I still get a Penalty token if my drawing is invalid?

Pranks (e.g., Banana, Mosquito, Broom) are played in the Play Pranks step before the Mission, Power‑Ups are used during Scoring, and individual Penalty effects are activated during the Mission phase (see page 3). Penalty tokens are collected whenever a Penalty icon is touched by a drawing regardless of whether that drawing is valid, while Bonus tokens are awarded when a Bonus icon is touched by a valid drawing (see page 7).

### If my line enters a laser/barrier area without pressing the button first, what happens to that part of the line?

If a line enters a protected area while the Laser and barrier are still active, the portion of the line beyond that point is erased before scoring; you must touch the corresponding button first to disable the barrier (see page 8).
