## Rules questions

### When we toss keshis into the cube tower, how do we claim them — how many can I take on my turn?

After the toss the emerging keshis are sorted by color in the tower base; in turn order each player chooses one color and may take up to 2 keshis of that color (or 1 if only one is available), placing them immediately on the matching sector; play continues until the display is empty and each player must take at least 1 if possible (p.7).

### What exactly do red water‑vendor keshis do and where can I place them?

Red keshis are water vendors and act as a wild when deploying assistants (you may place that assistant in any sector); when you use an assistant in a sector that contains a water vendor you gain 1 water immediately (p.7, p.12).

### Can I take keshis of a color if my sector is already full?

No — if a sector is completely filled you may not claim or take new keshis of that color (and if the only remaining keshis you could take are all for filled sectors you forfeit the remainder of the claiming phase) (p.7, p.8).

### I bought a scroll — when can I use its effect?

It depends on the scroll’s activation icon: a lightning bolt is instant (use immediately), some effects trigger at end of round or end of season, and others are permanent enhancements usable as specified for the rest of the game (p.11).

### How do oases work — how many can I claim/score and how are they placed?

You discover oases by deploying brown caravan keshis and may claim discovered oases by paying the shown cost during the Sahara action, placing claimed oasis tiles left‑to‑right on your supply board; you may claim as many as you can afford but only up to three claimed oases count for final scoring (p.11–p.12).
