## Rules questions

### Do I have to draw every route shown on the dice each round?

Yes — after the roll all players draw simultaneously and you must draw all 4 Routes shown on the dice each round if it is possible to do so (you may rotate or reverse the patterns). (Rulebook, p.4–5)

### What if a rolled route can’t be connected on my board — can I skip it or am I penalized immediately?

If a Route cannot be connected to an Exit or an existing Route you simply cannot draw it that round (you’re allowed to skip drawing any die face you can’t legally place); incomplete/open ends are only penalized at the end of the game as Errors (−1 each). (Rulebook, p.5; end‑game Errors, p.10)

### Can I directly connect a Railway to a Highway?

No — you may not draw Routes that directly connect Railways to Highways; use a Station to connect them, while an Overpass lets them cross without connecting. (Rulebook, p.4, p.5)

### How do Special Routes and Special Buildings work — can I use multiple special routes in a round and do building effects chain?

You may draw one Special Route per round and at most three Special Routes per game (mark each used Special Route off your board); Special Buildings (Factory, Village, University) trigger their effects immediately when activated, those effects can chain (e.g., a Factory duplicates a die, a University can grant a free Special Route when its track is completed). (Rulebook, p.6–7)

### Do Stations interrupt my longest Highway/Railway or how do they affect networks and Trail scoring?

Stations do not interrupt longest Highway or Railway paths and can be used to connect Railway and Highway networks; for the Trail expansion, Trails auto‑connect to Stations at a corner and Station networks score half the normal Network Value. (Rulebook, p.11–12; Trail dice rules, p.22)
