## Rules questions

### Can the President or Chancellor show the policy tiles they saw or must they tell the truth about them?

Policy tiles seen by the President and Chancellor (and any discarded tiles) must remain secret and should never be revealed; the President and Chancellor may lie about what they saw, and verbal/nonverbal communication between them during the Legislative Session is forbidden (pages 4–5).

### What happens when a government fails to be elected three times in a row?

If three governments are rejected consecutively, immediately reveal and enact the top Policy tile from the Policy deck (its power is ignored), the Election Tracker resets and existing term-limits are forgotten; if the deck is low on tiles, shuffle the discard into a new deck first (page 4).

### If Hitler is assassinated or elected Chancellor after three Fascist Policies, does he have to admit it?

Yes — a player who is Hitler must reveal that they are Hitler if they are assassinated or if they are elected Chancellor after three Fascist Policies have been enacted, and the game ends accordingly (pages 5 and 2).

### Who can be nominated for Chancellor or President — do term limits apply to both offices?

Term limits apply to the last elected President and Chancellor but only restrict nominations to the Chancellorship; anyone (including recently ineligible players) can become President, and special cases for five‑player games are noted in the rules (pages 3–4).

### When does the President use a Presidential Power and can they save or delay it?

If a newly enacted Fascist Policy grants a Presidential Power, the President must use it before the next round can begin; the President decides how and when to use it in that moment, powers are single‑use and gameplay cannot continue until the power is used (page 5).

### How does the Veto Power work once five Fascist Policies are enacted?

After the fifth Fascist Policy, the Chancellor may request a veto instead of enacting a Policy, but the President must consent for both cards to be discarded; each successful veto advances the Election Tracker by one and the presidency passes as usual (page 6).
