## Rules questions

### How many rounds do we play when using organizations?

Play only rounds 2, 3, 4, and 5, for a total of 4 rounds. Organizations are balanced for four rounds, so playing five is not recommended (pp. 4, 8).

### What do I do with the three quick start cards I’m dealt?

Choose 2 of the 3 cards, then resolve both simultaneously. The top half only tells you what to mark; it does not grant benefits, while the bottom half provides the listed resources, points, or effects (pp. 4–5).

### Do I resolve my organization’s income at the start of the game?

No. First take all starting resources, then resolve any income increases from cards you tuck; regular income is resolved only at the start of rounds 3, 4, and 5 (p. 5).

### Can I use a signal token with any card that marks a signal?

No. Signal tokens can be used only during a scan action: discard one to discard one additional card from the row and mark a signal in its matching sector. Because the row is replenished after the whole scan action, you can use at most two signal tokens in one scan action (p. 8).

### What happens when I complete a long-term objective?

When all three tasks are complete, remove the long-term objective from the game; it cannot be spent to prevent rival advancement at the end of a round. Uncompleted tasks are not scored at game end, but at the ends of rounds 2, 3, and 4 the rival advances once for each task still visible (p. 7).

### Can one trigger complete multiple tasks on long-term objectives?

No. Even if a single trigger could mark multiple tasks, including tasks on different objectives, you must choose only one task to mark (p. 7).
