## Rules questions

### When does Miss Panda come into play?

Miss Panda appears immediately when a player places one of the new Plot tiles that bears the pink‑flower Miss Panda symbol; place the Miss Panda figurine on that Plot (page 4).

### If I take a Move action or the wind lets me move a figure, can I move both pandas or must I choose one?

The player must choose to move either the Panda or Miss Panda — not both; Miss Panda otherwise moves the same way as the Panda (straight lines for the Move action; wind lets Miss Panda move to any plot) (page 4).

### How do you create a Panda Baby token — do both pandas have to meet and does it matter which one moved?

A Panda Baby is created only when Miss Panda ends her movement on the same plot as the Panda; the player who moved Miss Panda may return a bamboo section to the reserve to take a Panda Baby of that color — this does NOT work if the Panda moved to join Miss Panda (page 4).

### When I take a Panda Baby token, when do I apply its bonus and can the bonuses be reused?

You choose the token from the reserve and immediately apply the bonus printed on its back; each specific bonus is available only once per color and there are only three tokens of each color (page 5).

### Does the Kamis Garden count for all three bamboo colors for Plot objectives and how does bamboo grow there?

Yes — the Kamis Garden counts as all three colors for Plot objectives, and when it becomes irrigated one section of each color is added (additionally, moving the Gardener there causes all three colors to grow and also adds a section to adjacent irrigated plots) (pages 7 and 6).

### Do I have to move the Panda onto a Pond tile to complete Panda objectives, or can I complete them if the Panda is already on a Pond at my turn start?

You can complete Panda objectives if the Panda is on a Pond tile at the beginning of your turn; you do not have to move the Panda onto the Pond during your turn to score them (page 6).
