## Rules questions

### Do tiles have to be placed adjacent to other tiles, or can I place them anywhere of the right color?

When you add a six‑sided tile to your estate it must be placed on an empty space whose colour matches the tile and it must lie directly adjacent to at least one previously‑placed tile; the first tile can only be placed on one of the six spaces around the start castle (Rulebook p.5).

### When I place a castle, do I get another full turn (two actions) or just one extra action?

Placing a castle immediately grants one extra action as if you had an extra die with any result you choose — not a full additional turn of two actions (Rulebook p.6).

### How do worker tiles work — can I use more than one per die and when are they spent?

Each worker tile adjusts a die’s result by ±1, you may use multiple workers to change a die multiple times (including wrapping 1↔6), and each worker used is returned to the general supply when played (Rulebook p.4).

### When I add a ship, which depot do I take goods from — the depot matching the die or any depot?

When you add a ship tile you take all goods tiles from any one depot of your choice; this chosen depot is completely separate from the die result used to place the ship, and you can store at most three different goods colours (extras are left behind) (Rulebook p.5).

### Can I buy a tile from the central black depot anytime and how much does it cost?

Once per turn, at any point during your turn (before, between or after your dice actions), you may buy one tile from the central black depot by returning 2 Silverlings to the supply and placing the tile onto a storage space on your board (Rulebook p.9).
