## Rules questions

### If I take a face-up Locomotive as my first draw, can I still draw a second card?

No — if you draw a face-up Locomotive you may only draw one card instead of two; if the replacement face-up card after your first draw is a Locomotive you cannot take it, and if three of the five face-up cards are Locomotives all five are discarded and replaced (page 2).

### Can I claim more than one route on my turn so I can connect two cities at once?

No — on your turn you may claim a maximum of one route (place trains on that route and score it); you are never required to connect to your previous routes but you still may only claim one route per turn (page 2).

### In a 2- or 3-player game, can both tracks of a double-route be used by different players?

No — in 2- or 3-player games only one of the double-routes between the same two cities can be used; once one is claimed the other is closed to other players (page 2).

### At the start we were each dealt 3 Destination Tickets — do I have to keep at least two?

Yes — during setup each player is dealt 3 Destination Tickets and must keep at least two, placing any returned cards on the bottom of the destination deck (page 1).

### If I draw 3 Destination Tickets later in the game, do I have to keep all three?

No — when you draw 3 Destination Tickets on your turn later in the game you must keep at least one but may choose to keep two or all three; returned cards are placed on the bottom of the deck (page 2).
