## Rules questions

### How do we reveal new cards during the game?

Reveal cards by matching the number or letter printed on their backs when the app or another card tells you to — you turn that specific card over rather than drawing from a shuffled deck (page 2).

### How do red and blue numbers on object cards combine to find a new card?

Add the red number and the blue number shown on the two object cards to get the back number of the card to reveal; then discard the two used cards (pages 4, 8).

### Are object cards single‑use — do I discard them after I use them?

Yes: when you combine object cards to form a result you discard the cards you used; other card effects or penalties may also tell you to discard specific cards (pages 4, 3).

### What do I do with green‑striped 'Machine' cards?

Enter the number on a green‑striped Machine card into the app to activate it and resolve whatever effect the app returns (page 5).

### How do the locks/codes work — how do we enter codes in the app?

Codes are 4‑digit locks you type into the app’s keypad; the app will accept valid codes, may auto‑detect certain hidden objects, and gives feedback or hints as described in the hint rules (page 6).
