## Rules questions

### How many actions do I get on my turn — can I take more than two?

You get exactly two actions each turn (each action can be a Maneuver, Scheme, or Attack) and you cannot take more than two unless a card effect specifically changes that. (Rulebook p.5)

### When I take a Maneuver action, do I draw a card before I move?

Yes; the Maneuver action instructs you to draw a card and then move your figure. (Rulebook p.5)

### How does Boost work — can I discard cards to add movement or bonus to an action?

You may discard cards for Boost as described on the Boost rule—discarding cards adds Boost for movement (and other Boost-eligible effects listed on cards) according to the card text. (Rulebook p.6)

### How do I resolve timing words like IMMEDIATELY, DURING, and AFTER when they appear on cards?

Follow the timing words exactly: resolve effects at the labeled timing in the attack resolution sequence and apply damage and other effects in the order specified; see the attack resolution timing and order rules. (Rulebook p.7)

### What happens when a sidekick is defeated — does it come back?

When a sidekick is defeated it is removed from the game (it does not return); if a hero is reduced to 0 health their player/team loses. (Rulebook p.8)

### Do ranged attacks need adjacency or can they target across zones?

You must follow the game's targeting rules and the card's range: adjacency and multi-zone layout determine what you can target, and ranged vs melee icons affect valid targets—see the Spaces/Zones rules and the attack targeting rules. (Rulebook pp.4, 6)
