## Rules questions

### How many actions do I get on my turn, and when do I resolve an event?

You take exactly 3 actions, and you may repeat the same action during the turn. After your actions, resolve furniture benefits, then draw and resolve the next event card; the event happens before the next player’s turn (Rulebook, pp. 12–13).

### What happens if I move into a space with a creature?

Combat starts immediately, and if you were moving, your movement action ends at once—even if you had movement remaining. You must also stop moving upon entering a space containing one or more creatures (Rulebook, pp. 14, 22).

### If several creatures are on my space, do they all attack me at once?

No. You fight only one creature at a time and roll damage dice only for the creature with the highest printed health; once it is defeated, the next strongest creature attacks. You may choose which creature to attack, but not which creature damages you (Rulebook, p. 27).

### Do attack or defense bonuses work if I roll only blanks?

No. An attack bonus applies only if you roll at least 1 attack icon, and a defense bonus applies only if you roll at least 1 defense icon. A roll consisting entirely of blanks therefore misses or provides no defense bonus (Rulebook, p. 24).

### Can I use a consumable after seeing the combat dice?

Yes. Consumables are free actions and may be used at any time during your own turn, including after seeing the dice results during combat; discard the token after use. Reroll tokens can reroll player dice, but never damage dice (Rulebook, pp. 19, 28).

### What happens when my health reaches zero?

You are knocked out, moved to the house, reduced to 0 stamina, and usually leave a tombstone plus one randomly removed equipment card at the knockout location; your turn ends immediately if you were the active player. On your next turn, you revive with 1 health and continue normally, while creatures ignore you until then (Rulebook, p. 29).
