## Rules questions

### What happens if my bag doesn't have enough coins when I need to draw 3 at the start of the round?

Refill your bag by shuffling your discard pile into it and continue drawing until you have 3 coins; if you only have one or two coins total between your hand and discard, draw what's available and you will not get the usual three actions — after you play your last coin the opponent continues taking actions until their hand is empty (page 6).

### What can I use the Royal Coin for — can it move or attack?

The Royal Coin has no matching unit and can only be used for facedown actions (claim initiative, recruit, or pass), except when used by the Royal Guard's tactic; it cannot be used for face‑up maneuver actions (page 7).

### When I attack and remove a coin from the target, where does that removed coin go?

When you attack you remove one coin from the target and put it in the box (not into the supply or discard pile); if the target was unbolstered (a single coin) the unit is destroyed and removed from the board (page 11).

### If I deploy a unit, can I use that same coin to move or attack immediately?

No — the coin spent to deploy is used up; you cannot perform maneuvers with that same spent coin, so you would need another matching coin to discard face‑up to move/attack the deployed unit (deployment rules and maneuvers, pages 8 and 10).

### Can an Archer attack an adjacent unit?

No — the Archer cannot make a normal adjacent attack; it may only attack using its tactic, which targets a unit two spaces away (page 16).

### Can I take the Initiative multiple times in the same round?

No — the Initiative Marker may only transfer between players once per round, and you may not take the claim‑initiative action if you already have (or had) the marker this round (page 9).
