Al Rashid

Set during the prosperous reign of Harun al-Rashid, players lead powerful families seeking influence at the Abbasid court. They place Sages, Merchants, and Pashas across the Middle East to gather resources, recruit workers, and gain access to corporations representing intrigue, war, science, commerce, and politics. Over five turns, players place workers and resolve actions according to influence and placement order. Resources can be traded for additional workers, government offices, and other advantages, while mercenaries help repel raiders appearing on the map. Players earn prestige by acquiring workers and offices, and the player with the most prestige after the final turn wins.
