- Final scoring
- First finish the tracks: score your Final Scoring card or cards — each worth 1 to 4 conservation points and never more than 4 — and every card with an end-of-game icon, advancing your counters accordingly. If no player ever reached 10 conservation points, discard one Final Scoring card before doing this.
- Appeal
- The value your Appeal counter has reached, once every end-of-game gain has been applied.
- − Target number
- Look at the scoring area where your Conservation counter stands and find the lowest Appeal value in it. That is your target number: enter it as a negative, because your victory points are your Appeal minus your target. Your two counters have to cross for that to come out positive.
