A medieval fantasy setting and d20 resource centered on a typical baron’s castle, town, and fief. It provides floor plans, maps, NPC locations, details on local laws and bribery, and guidance on the ruler’s powers and response to crime. The material also supports a strategy role-playing game in which a player manages a barony of roughly one hundred knights. Economic and demographic systems cover the development and administration of the fief, while magic, adventurers, and monsters influence its economy and warfare. The book includes 43 creature stat blocks, nine floor plans and maps, bookmarks, and 29 illustrations.
