Desperation
A pair of small roleplaying games that use dark, lyrical storytelling rooted in actual history. Players portray people pushed beyond their limits, deciding which characters say and do the things that must happen rather than directing a single character’s actions. Card reveals gradually escalate the story toward increasingly horrific events.
