Fictionary
Traditional parlour game of fake dictionary definitions. One player selects an obscure word and announces its spelling and part of speech, while all players write plausible definitions. The true definition is shuffled with the invented ones and read aloud, and players guess which definition is genuine and who wrote each one. Points are awarded for identifying the true definition, recognizing other players’ entries, and misleading opponents. The dictionary passes to the next player for subsequent rounds.
