2007 · American Civil War
Glory III
A brigade-level simulation of two American Civil War battles, presented on a single map with counters representing brigades and leaders. Players activate units using a chit-draw system that creates uncertainty about when specific commanders and formations will act, then manoeuvre, engage in combat, and manage command and control under scenario-specific constraints. Scenarios cover episodic and full-battle engagements, including an Antietam scenario with command difficulties for Union forces and a Cedar Creek scenario built around an initial Confederate surprise and a later Union counterattack. Components include a map, counter sheets, rulebook, die, and player aids.
