ludoya.comHow each category scores
- Trees
- A Tree is 1 green token on top of 0, 1 or 2 brown tokens, making it size 1, 2 or 3, and its height decides the points it scores.
- Mountains
- A Mountain is a stack of 1, 2 or 3 grey tokens, and its height decides the points — but a Mountain not adjacent to another Mountain is worth nothing at all.
- Fields
- 5 points for each Field, a Field being a contiguous group of 2 or more yellow tokens. A group of 4 or more is still just one Field for 5 points, so small separated groups score best.
- Buildings
- 5 points for each Building — 1 red token on a brown, grey or red one — but only if at least 3 of the tokens around it are of different colours, counting only the top token of each adjacent space. A Building that fails this is worth 0.
- Water — the River
- A River is a string of consecutive blue tokens, and its length decides the points. Count from one end to the other by the shortest path, ends included, and score only your best river. Beyond the 6th consecutive token, score 4 points for each further token.
- Animal cards
- Each Animal card, complete or not, scores the number printed in its topmost space that has no cube on it. A card still holding all its cubes is worth 0, and there is no penalty for leaving cubes on beyond the points you miss.
