ludoya.comHow each category scores
- Victory Points
- The value of the enemy Settlements you control, each one carrying your Settlement Control Marker: 1 point for a City, 2 for a Stronghold. The single and double symbols printed on them are the reminder.
- Victory Conditions
- The four Victory Conditions, in order of precedence — a lower-numbered one beats a higher one reached on the same turn
- Ring-bearer corruption
- The Ring-bearers reach 12 or more Corruption Points, the quest fails, and the Shadow player wins. Checked at any moment during a turn.
- Destroying the Ring
- The Ring-bearers stand on the Crack of Doom step of the Mordor Track with fewer than 12 Corruption Points, and the Free Peoples player wins. Checked at any moment during a turn.
- Shadow conquers
- The Shadow player controls Free Peoples Settlements worth 10 or more Victory Points. Checked only in phase 6.
- Sauron banished
- The Free Peoples player controls Shadow Settlements worth 4 or more Victory Points. Checked only in phase 6.
- Individual victory
- Each team wins as in the two-player game. If the Shadow team won, each Shadow player counts the Victory Points of the Strongholds and Cities their Nations captured minus those they lost, and the higher total wins. If the Free Peoples team won, the player who lost fewer Victory Points to Shadow conquest wins.
