1994 · Card Game
Wordthief
Players are dealt cards showing a letter and a suit and use them to build words on the table, similar to tile-laying word games. Words can be rearranged or extended by other players: if a player can take an opponent’s entire word and form a new valid word or words from those cards, the stealer scores points and the previous owner loses points. Words composed entirely of one suit become locked and cannot be stolen. Scoring uses a poker-style chip system to track gains and losses, and gameplay emphasizes hand management, word formation, and tactical stealing.
