101 Variant Monsters
A collection of monster variants for fantasy roleplaying games, designed to refresh familiar encounters without changing their Challenge Rating. Each variant replaces existing abilities and may also alter a creature’s appearance, habitat, or behavior, changing how it functions in play. The book includes five variants for every Challenge Rating from 1 through 20, plus additional CR 25 variants, covering creatures from minor foes to powerful monsters.
