This expansion shifts play to the liberal phase of the French Revolution, adding new political tensions between the Assemblée Nationale, Royalists plotting an escape, and dissatisfied popular factions in the streets. Players maneuver influence, draft and defend a new constitution, and contest seats and authority as the game progresses toward elections for the Legislative Assembly. Mechanics introduce scenario-specific events and objectives that alter loyalties and strategic options across a fixed 17-round arc, with no major military campaigns but heightened political intrigue and shifting public opinion.
