Play as the Thermidorian faction navigating post-Terror Revolutionary France. Players balance between conservative and radical forces, trying to curb both Royalist resurgence and popular insurrection while preserving the Republic without restoring the monarchy or embracing full popular democracy. This expansion integrates with the 1793: Patriots & Traitors base game and gives the Thermidorian side a modest starting advantage. Gameplay centers on political maneuvering, shifting alliances, and tactical choices to control influence and avoid defeat by either extreme.
