18 Grand Junction
An 18xx railway game set in the mountainous Colorado terrain, where a restrictive track system limits construction. Yellow plain track upgrades only to the complex green plain track, with connections numbered 16 through 22. When a company starts, it selects a president who grants a special ability similar to those provided by private companies in other 18xx games. Private companies are not used; instead, the first group of presidents retires in Phase 3, and each company selects a replacement at the end of its next operating turn. Familiarity with the rules of 1846 is recommended.
