War has begun, and rival factions compete for scarce resources while the great houses offer little aid. Players manage their hands and resources, using cards to seize opportunities, endure desperate situations, and limit the effects of increasingly difficult choices. The player who best navigates the harsh landscape and minimizes setbacks survives the three years of conflict.
