A Man on the Road
A pamphlet adventure for Old-School Essentials built around a seemingly ordinary roadside encounter. The party meets a ragged rider and his diseased horse, then decides whether to negotiate, investigate, or attempt a robbery. The rider uses false identities, deceptive tactics, varied fighting styles, and other tricks to frustrate the party’s plans. Defeating him can reveal unusual and valuable loot.
