A Night at Wayside Inn
This fantasy role-playing adventure is designed for characters of levels 7–10 and is set in the Shadows over Vathak campaign setting. A roadside tavern offers weary travelers shelter from the wilderness, but its welcoming appearance conceals a sinister presence that feeds on their life experiences. Players investigate the inn, uncover its tainted nature, and confront the evil within its restless architecture. The adventure provides a compact scenario for inserting mystery and danger into a journey between larger quests.
