Players reconstruct a historical timeline spanning the years before and after the Martian invasion of 1898. Event cards depict political, cultural, scientific, and military developments in a world transformed by the War of the Worlds, and players place them in chronological order to trace the fall of the old empires and the emergence of a ravaged new era.
