In the walled city of Tamakagure, imperial factions gather under a fragile peace to reunite a divided bloodline, sign a treaty, and name a new heir. After a noble is found dead under unnatural circumstances, secret emissaries, ronin, and seers bring conflicting loyalties and hidden agendas to the House of Endless Wind. Players take the roles of these gathered figures, investigate the mysterious death, negotiate alliances, and uncover secrets while confronting a presence that may be neither living nor dead.
