A unit of green recruits serving the frontier garrison, composed of raw men recently enlisted to bolster defenses along the Wall. They function as inexpensive, numerous infantry with modest combat capability, intended to fill ranks and provide board presence rather than act as elite specialists. Players field them to increase unit count and soak damage, and may pair them with a recruiter attachment to improve cohesion and effectiveness within the army.
