A unit of mercenary infantry that emphasizes tactical positioning and coordinated strikes. Players use the unit’s Tactical Strike to attack with its highest attack die when their side controls the Tactics Zone, letting the unit deliver stronger single attacks under favorable conditions. The unit includes an officer attachment that blocks enemy Orders, Tactics cards, and Influence from affecting the unit, and enables wound recovery after passing Morale Tests when attached. Components include a bannerman, officer, eleven swordsmen miniatures, unit and attachment cards, and a movement tray.
