A unit of mounted mercenaries who serve no particular house and hire out to whoever pays. They field armored horsemen with moderate training and equipment—better than common levies but not as elite as a major house’s knights. In play they function as a neutral cavalry option that can be added to any force, providing mobile melee presence and a straightforward way to bolster a battle line when extra mounted troops are needed.
