Abyss

A setting supplement for the Hostile RPG and Cepheus Engine, this game presents an overcrowded waterworld where nearly all land is concentrated on a few small islands. Most residents live in cramped, polluted urban districts, while corporations control valuable real estate and seabed mineral deposits. Players explore a colony shaped by poverty, crime, industrial exploitation, and corporate conflict. The setting includes dense cities, offshore rigs, underwater mining stations, production facilities, and the claustrophobic crews of seabed harvesters. A submarine war between rival corporations adds another source of danger.
