Adeimantus
A setting focused on Adeimantus, a refined and condescending sophisticate devoted to perfecting Beimeni-Ta. He courts sages, courtesans, and martial artists as living ornaments for the civilization’s crown, while treating other cultures as inferior echoes. Adeimantus prefers reason and persuasion to violence, but his death would leave Beimeni-Ta vulnerable to a new ruler. The resulting struggle explores the consequences of replacing one dangerous vision of perfection with another.
