Albuera 1811: Beresford vs. Soult

A tactical simulation of the bloodiest battle of the Peninsular War, where British and French armies suffer heavy losses in the struggle for victory. Players maneuver Napoleonic infantry in line, column, square, and skirmisher formations, positioning battalions to support neighboring units and withstand cavalry, musketry, and close combat. Cavalry, artillery, and horse artillery have more streamlined rules, while an activation chit system determines which formations act. Non-activated units can still fire, making morale checks and withdrawals possible across the battlefield. Each turn represents 15 minutes, with hexes covering 150 meters.
