Alea Iacta Est
A two-player strategic wargame covering the Roman civil wars from Caesar’s crossing of the Rubicon in 49 B.C. to Octavianus’ closure of the Temple of Janus in 29 B.C., marking the return of peace and the rise of the Principate. One player commands Caesar, his allies, partisans, and successors, while the other directs their adversaries; the sides may change during play. The game includes an A1 map, 216 die-cut counters, and a 20-page rulebook with seven scenarios, in English or French.
