Alexandre contre la Perse

A tactical level board wargame covering the battles of Granicus, Issos, and Gaugamela, the three major confrontations in Alexander the Great’s campaign against Persia. Players command either the Macedonian army, built around the complementary strength of cavalry and phalanx, or the diverse forces of the Persian Empire. Each scenario recreates a progressively larger and more complex battle, with players maneuvering troops, exploiting terrain and formations, and directing attacks to break the opposing army. The Macedonian army must overcome numerical disadvantages, while the Persian command seeks to contain Alexander’s cavalry and avoid a decisive collapse.
