This supplement details five alien races: the pacifist, scientifically advanced Darrians; the enigmatic Geonee, who claim descent from the Ancients; the uplifted and egalitarian Dolphins; the matriarchal and aloof Orca; and the cooperative, detail-focused Bwaps. It describes their cultures, societies, physiology, and psychology. The book includes rules for creating Travellers from each race, High Guard additions, new ships, and Central Supply Catalogue entries for equipment associated with them.
