ANKHEG
Inatuy, a hedge-wizard seeking the Key of the Condemned, hires adventurers to investigate a mining expedition that has gone silent beneath a sensitive site. The tunnels contain an ankheg hive controlled by Nemorphox, an exiled mind flayer seeking to preserve its consciousness by merging with the colony and reclaiming a humanoid form. Designed for approximately 12 HD worth of Knave characters, the adventure focuses on exploring the deep tunnels, uncovering the fate of the dwarven miners, and confronting the hive’s alien intelligence.
