Armed Free Trader (Traveller HERO)
A Type A free trader is a small, 200-ton cargo ship that carries goods along the Imperium’s trade routes. Merchant captains use these inexpensive vessels to collect small cargoes and pursue speculative trade, often starting out with a free trader before moving to larger ships. The Jump-2 far trader is a common variant used throughout Known Space.
