A tactical-level simulation of the September 1944 encounters between US armored forces and newly formed German Panzer Brigades during Patton’s eastward drive. Players command battalion- and company-sized units, maneuvering armor, infantry and artillery across a single full-color map while managing supply, support and combined-arms attacks. Multiple scenarios range from short, focused engagements to a multi-turn campaign, each using the Battalion Combat Series rules with few special exceptions. Components include full BCS rulebooks and charts, scenario booklets, a turn track, counters and dice, providing a compact introduction to the series while representing mobile offensive and defensive warfare on a single map.
