This roleplaying game supplement details a two-handed magical polearm with a black shaft, colored metal bands, a thorned gold hilt, and a serrated blade. The weapon is designed to harm a specific creature type, indicated by the blade’s glow; twisting a band changes the selected type and its color. The booklet includes profiles and construction requirements for four related magic items, four scaling NPCs, rules for the Dynamic Bane weapon modification, background material, campaign hooks, and a page of rumors and lore with rules for incorporating them into play.
